Rooted in the industrial foundries of Ljubljana dating back to 1848, Litostroj Power serves as the central nervous system and primary manufacturing hub for our global operations. This massive facility is specifically engineered to handle the sheer scale of utility-grade hydropower infrastructure.
About
Manufacturing excellence and European standards
We cover precise 3D engineering, FEM, procurement of raw materials and complete production process from steel plate cutting and forming, welding to multiaxis CNC machining and final components assembly.
We handle the complete quality of final product in house with state of the art 3D scanning software and various NDT methods to achieve highest standards demanded by our clients. Once the products are taken over we also handle logistics, on site instalations and commissioning of units.
Certified manufacturing
Fully certified under ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), and strictly adhering to ISO 3834 for the fusion welding of highly stressed metallic materials. We are also a fully registered supplier in the Achilles Pre-Qualification System.
Award-winning innovation
Our Slovenian R&D and engineering teams have been repeatedly recognized for excellence, winning multiple Gold Awards from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for innovations in predictive diagnostics (COMOS) and discrete production control. Furthermore, the facility actively drives European technological advancement through participation in Horizon, EUREKA, and FP7 research programs.
The Litostroj training center
To secure our 170-year legacy, the Ljubljana headquarters houses our dedicated internal Training Center. Here, we ensure the direct, hands-on transfer of specialized heavy-machining and engineering knowledge from our most skilled veteran workers to the next generation of Litostroj experts.
